- Lexilogic provides a systematic approach by working through graded lessons from improving word recognition, with the choice of various distractors (visual, auditory & semantic) to address specific error types. Lessons go through a series of exercises including closure, typing/ spelling initial letter - assisting severe language impairment by facilitating some functional reading & spelling. The versatility of its design makes it suitable for adults and children. 3 sets of matched picture material can be used to check for generalisation of learning. While the main focus is on reading at single word level and elementary spelling skills, the program can be used in many different lexilogic incorporates the facility to create individualised lessons with your own customised material.
